Qantas Business Rewards is a loyalty program rewarding small-to-medium enterprises with Qantas Points and savings on their business expenses. Any business with an ABN can join and be rewarded, whether they fly a lot or a little, but they have to be registered for GST to enjoy all the benefits of the program.
As a Qantas Frequent Flyer member, individuals can earn Qantas Points on their spend and enjoy flight benefits for themselves. As a Business Rewards member, a business account is set-up to unlock even more benefits at a business level, while the owner and their employees still enjoy all the benefits they normally would as a Frequent Flyer member including flight savings, Qantas Club savings and more.
How do you earn Qantas Points from everyday business expenses?
With over 50 Qantas Business Rewards partners, including Live eftpos and Live sms, your business can turn everyday transactions into Qantas Points. To help your business maximise the points earned, rewards partners are spread across a variety of categories including credit cards, fuel, hotels, car hire and other business services.
Earning Qantas Points on flights
Qantas Business Rewards members will be able to earn Qantas Points for their business for flights, on top of the points they would normally earn as a Qantas Frequent Flyer. When you book an eligible flight, ensure that you add the ABN associated with your Qantas Business Rewards account and add your Qantas Frequent Flyer number.
Similar to Qantas Frequent Flyer Status Credits, Qantas Business Rewards has three membership tiers based on the points your business earns on flights each year.
Discounts on the base fare of selected flights and Qantas Points earned vary depending on your membership level. For example, if your business earns up to 100,000 points on flights each year, you’ll receive a discount of 8% on the base fare of selected flights as well as earning 40 points for every 100 points the Qantas Frequent Flyer earns on the flight.
How to redeem points earned through Qantas Business Rewards
As a Qantas Frequent Flyer member, individuals can log into their account to book Classic Flight Rewards using the Qantas Points they’ve accumulated. While Qantas Points are not redeemable in the same way via your Qantas Business Rewards account, they can be transferred to any Qantas Frequent Flyer account when your business has earned at least 3,000 Qantas Points.
By transferring the Qantas Points your business has earned to a Qantas Frequent Flyer account, you as the business owner, your staff, family or friends can use these Qantas Points to book eligible flights, upgrades, or redeem products from the Qantas Rewards Store.
