From 18 November, we will be making a series of updates to our eCommerce payment gateway as well as improvements and UX enhancements to the Live group portal.

Portal improvements

The updates focus on the portal settings page, providing you with new card acceptance and surcharging options. The changes also ensure that new settings can easily be added as we begin to add new products to the portal in the coming months.

The key updates that take immediate effect are:

  • The option to select which cards types are accepted via the payment gateway
  • The option to surcharge based on card type
  • The ability to see chargebacks, reversals, and quarantined transactions via the Transactions page.

Enhanced user onboarding

To continually improve your portal onboarding experience, we’ve introduced a series of prompted cues to welcome new users as well as to introduce key features and functionality. You will see these as a first-time user or whenever a new portal feature is released.

If you have any additional suggestions for how we can continue to improve the portal, simply let us know via the Live eftpos feedback forum.

WordPress plugin directory listing

In the coming weeks, the Live eftpos WooCommerce plugin will also be available for download via the WordPress plugin directory. If you’re installing our payment gateway for the first time, the listing offers another easy way to search and download our plugin. You will also have the option to read plugin FAQs, see the changelog and screenshots from inside WordPress.
