Beginning next week, we will begin rolling out 3.1, the latest update to our Live eftpos device operating system. Like its predecessor 3.0, it incorporates another set of exciting features that improve usability and make accepting card payments even easier for your business.

Settlement report updates

One of the regular requests we receive is for settlement report printing to be disabled. The good news is that this is possible as soon as your device updates with 3.1. In the coming months we will also be providing the option to receive the report via email or SMS instead.

Customised receipts

Using recent customer feedback, we’ve made a series of changes to both the look and layout of receipts.

You now have the option to print your customer receipts before your own merchant receipt, or completely disable the merchant receipt from printing. Both options should help speed up transactions during busy periods.

For customised receipts, please submit your request along with your Merchant ID or Terminal ID to support@liveeftpos.com.au.

Void password protection

For additional device safety and an extra layer of security, you must enter your MOTO/Refund password before voiding a transaction.

Note: Contactless limit increase

On 7 May 2020, the PIN limit for contactless ‘tap and go’ payments increased from $100 to $200. At the moment this is only a temporary measure and we will notify you as soon as the limit is reverts to $100.
